Hardware
Main computer: Custom built desktop PC
Nothing fancy, but a build that I started back in 2011 and have been upgrading all the parts over the years.
Laptop: 2009 HP Touchsmart Tm2 (seriously)
I bought this laptop brand new back in 2009 and used it for college. I loved it because the case was cool and the screen swiveled and laid flat with the screen up. I stopped using it as it became outdated, but I picked it back up and started upgrading parts I could in December 2025. I've upgraded the battery, wifi card, RAM, and storage, and I use it every day now. I've written everything for this website on this laptop so far.
Phone: Nothing Phone 3a
It's a very unique looking phone, which I really appreciate, especially as all phones seem to be merging together to be carbon copies of each other. Also, I keep it in black and white mode all the time.
Software & Tools
For writing: Zettlr
I write all my posts, stories, and the book I'm working on in markdown using Zettlr. It's especially good for my book as I can keep all the files organized on the side and everything loads really fast, even on my laptop from 2009. It's not good with spelling or grammar corrections, so whenever I want to export parts of my book I have to make corrections, but that's a compromise I can live with.
Game Engine: Godot
I appreciate the lightweight editor and it works really well for my 2d pixel art game I've been working on.
Everyday Carry
Planner/Journal: Hobonichi Techo Cousin
These are the greatest journals in my opinion. I've used one of these every year since 2023. It has the full year at every scale. The year on one page, Each quarter on one page. Each month on one page. Each week on one page. Each day on one page. Plus some fun additional stuff like a "check off" style day tracker in the back. I definitely need to write a post about this planner and how I use it at some point.
The best pens I've ever used. The colors are vibrant. The lines are crisp and solid. The perfect pen.
Pen case: Custom
